    Nice :), it'll be interesting to have some of Dead Island ideas in the game, I can also only image what sort of notes people will find.

    I don't think it is a bad thing they are expanding on War Inc at all really. Hammer Point Interactive is the developer of Warz but it is being published by Arktos Entertainment Group, which also was the publisher of War Inc. We'll see how War Z turns out I suppose.

    It feels like it was to speed up the process of the game, I don't think they thought DayZ would be a contender but considering how it boomed, they wanted to get their product out as soon as possible :).
    purely speculation though.

    Not really a bad thing if they use the models (imo), it helps speed up production time, you dont have to have people designing models when they can be working on actual gameplay. As long as they upgrade the engine and make the game good; who really cares if they reuse models from War Inc

    I think the biggest uproar is the fact it isn't a mod, it's portraying itself to be a stand alone game, typically in a stand alone I would say using models from different games is a bit tacky.

    Don't get me wrong though... I could care less as it doesn't effect my gameplay, and it'll get the game to us quicker :)

    Hmm... not sure how I feel about this to be honest with you.

    The whole excitement of DayZ is that fact that depending on your choices it can mean life or death, and it's something you actually need to think through because you will lose everything.

    I see this mechanism as a way for people to be dicks in all scenarios because what's the loss, everyone keeps everything anyways.

    I'm hoping they'll be that hard core mode they mentioned.

    Hardcore mode gets to respawn immediately

    Casual Mode gets 12-24 hours lockout -- wtf??

    Suggested change in the modes right now ----- Hardcore mode is you lose your gear AND all character progression (skills, experience points, etc.). In normal mode we just want to lose gear and not character progression. That would be the difference.

    Normal characters on other hand will be just put into "lockdown" for certain period of time - we're testing how long it'll be, for now that time is set to 24 hours of real world time. Once "revived" your character will be able to continue to play from approximately same location where he died, all hist skills/stats will remain same.

    24 hour lockdown?? come on


    Will we really have to wait 24hrs to Respawn?

    Why will we initially spawn with a gun in Hardcore Mode?

    Why ? First of all we're not completely sure it'll be this way, but anyway you'll be able to find some sort of weapon ( even if it's just a knife ) close to your initial spawn.


    You can shoot inside the safe zones from outside or am I wrong?

    Why can we only kill Zombies with Headshots?

    PS: you can also burn whole zombie body, so that's an option too.

    Will there be Xbox 360 Controller Support?

    So you can drop full or partially full magazine to the ground - by reloading your gun or just drop it from inventory and somebody else can pick it up.

    You can cary as many as you like in your backpack as long as total weight is lower that max weight you can carry and there're free slots in backpack.

    That cool down period seems silly to be honest a full day in a gamers life is a long freaking time

    It was announced that clan bases will be in the game. They will be called "mini-worlds"( or something along those lines ) probably be like this pic. Its a place for clans to store their weapons, extra materials, and anything not needed at the moment or just to relax for a few minutes. I feel alot of secret base raids coming :D
